As the International Labor & Employment Counsel, you will be a critical team member in Lyra’s legal team, assisting the International People Team, and working cross‐functionally throughout the organisation in the management and handling of labor and employment related matters, with particular focus in EMEA and Asia‐Pacific regions.
This role will work closely with other departments within the company to advise on a wide range of employment issues impacting multiple functions of our team across multiple jurisdictions. You will be expected to work independently as one of two points of contact for the legal team in responding to international labor and employment questions, helping to develop the strategy for our international employment questions, and leading employment‐related projects to support Lyra’s growth.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced labor and employment lawyer, ready to roll up their sleeves on novel questions of International Labor and Employment law, able to deliver practical advice to our operational and People teams on international regulations in employment and Labor law, and prepared to support teams across multiple time zones. You should have a proactive nature in identifying issues and presenting solutions and be someone who is searching for a collaborative environment brimming with novel questions.
This is a full-time, remote role that will be located in the UK and will report to Lyra’s US‐based Director, Labour & Employment Counsel.
