Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Governance
*Develop and maintain supplier governance processes and frameworks.
*Establish supplier tiering and appropriate governance models.
*Support sourcing strategies that reduce supplier dependency and improve resilience.
*Facilitate governance meetings and executive supplier reviews.
Supplier Performance*Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
*Identify performance issues and drive improvement plans.
*Review service trends, risks, and escalations.
*Ensure suppliers are delivering agreed outcomes and service quality.
Commercial Management*Maintain visibility of technology supplier spend and commercial commitments.
*Support contract renewals, commercial changes, and invoice validation.
*Work closely with Procurement and Legal on supplier agreements and negotiations.
*Help ensure value for money from supplier relationships.
Supplier Relationships*Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
*Act as a point of escalation for supplier-related issues.
*Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure supplier alignment with business needs.
*Support executive engagement with key suppliers.
Risk & Compliance*Monitor supplier risks relating to security, resilience, compliance, and business continuity.
*Work with Security, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to address supplier risks.
*Ensure supplier contracts include appropriate controls and obligations.
Continuous Improvement*Maintain and track supplier improvement initiatives.
*Use performance data, risk trends, and service insights to drive better outcomes.
*Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.
Skills & ExperienceEssential*Experience in Supplier Management, Vendor Management, Commercial Governance, or a similar role.
*Experience managing technology suppliers and third-party partners.
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Good commercial and financial awareness.
*Ability to analyse data and provide meaningful insights.
*Understanding of supplier performance management, SLAs, and governance processes.
*Knowledge of technology risk, security, and operational resilience.
Desirable*Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
*Knowledge of ITIL, SIAM, or service management frameworks.
*Experience working with contracts, renewals, and supplier negotiations.
