Department: Technical Services / Service Desk
Job Title: IT Support Engineer (Schools)
Reporting to: Head of Support Services
Location: Lancaster (with travel to school sites in and amongst the Cumbria region – Kendal/Barrow)
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays

Main Purpose of the Job
To deliver high-quality IT support and services across a portfolio of schools, providing a mix of on-site and remote support. The role includes troubleshooting, installations, project work, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT services within your allocated schools. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service are a must – a successful candidate will be skilled at building rapport with their regular customer base.
