Finance Administrator Job at Whiteley, Hampshire Full Time

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the finance email box and handling queries
• Processing purchase ledger invoices and preparing payment runs
• Uploading payments onto the banking system
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting
• Creating and updating process notes for the new finance system
• Pitching in with general admin, answering the phone, and supporting the team as needed

What you will need:

• Previous experience in accounts payable, finance administration, or similar roles (e.g. Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Clerk, Accounts Administrator)
• General admin experience and a willingness to help with tasks outside of finance
• A steady, reliable approach and strong attention to detail
• Team player attitude – happy to get involved wherever needed
• Experience with Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and/or AccountsIQ is helpful but not essential
