Credit Controller Job at Dalkeith, Midlothian Full Time

We’re partnering with a growing Edinburgh-based business to recruit a Credit Controller on a maternity cover contract. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of your own ledger and play a key part in keeping cash flow on track.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and driving timely payments
• Chasing outstanding debt and resolving queries quickly
• Working closely with Account Managers to improve collections
• Setting up payment plans and managing credit risk
• Allocating payments and keeping accounts accurate and up to date
• Handling customer queries across phone and email
• Supporting wider accounts receivable and finance activity

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Confident communicator who can build relationships and influence outcomes
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing a busy workload
• Strong attention to detail and good Excel skills
• Experience with finance systems (Dynamics or similar is a plus)
