An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Credit Controller to join a successful and fast-paced business based on the outskirts of Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their finance career – whether youâre a recent graduate, have 1-2 yearsâ finance experience, or are looking to build a long-term career in Credit Control.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the management of customer accounts and outstanding payments
- Chasing overdue invoices via phone and email in a professional manner
- Building positive relationships with customers and helping resolve account queries
- Allocating cash and assisting with account reconciliations
- Producing aged debt reports and supporting the wider finance team
- Assisting with month-end finance processes
Key Requirements
- Interest in pursuing a career within Credit Control or Finance
- Graduate calibre or 1â2 yearsâ experience within an office or finance environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
