RG Consultancy are proud to be working with a well-established law firm in the recruitment of an experienced Legal Cashier. Reporting directly to the Senior Legal Cashier, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to further develop their career within legal accounts and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing client and office account payments and receipts
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Managing CHAPS, BACS transfers
- Processing invoices, supplier payments, and staff expenses
- Handling client money in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Posting bills, transfers, and disbursements
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts procedures
- Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting credit control processes
- Preparing financial reports for management
- Liaising with fee earners, clients, banks, and suppliers regarding financial matters
- Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and financial regulations
- Supporting audits and compliance checks
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information
- Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
