DCM Tyre & Autocentres is a well-established and trusted name in automotive servicing and repair. We are looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team at our Shaftesbury branch.

Key Details

* Salary: £45,000 – £50,000+ per annum
* Working pattern: 4 days per week (Friday or Monday off)
* Signing bonus: £2,000 upon successful completion of probation
* Location: Shaftesbury, Dorset
* Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
* Fully Heated Workshop

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of passenger vehicles
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment
* Perform MOT preparation and safety inspections
* Complete all job cards and documentation accurately and on time
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
* Work collaboratively with the wider service and front-of-house team

What We’re Looking For

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair — essential
* Proven experience working as a qualified technician on passenger vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
