Bookkeeper – Music Industry Job at London Full Time

Our client is a leading international talent management company. They represent a number of high profile artists and bands in the music industry.

They would like to recruit a senior bookkeeper with music industry experience for their growing finance team in London.

Your main duties will include:

– General bookkeeping for various entities

– Preparing VAT returns

– Preparing management accounts

– Assisting with year end accounting

– Processing payment runs

– Liaising with external accountants (which act for artists)

You will be working within a small and friendly finance team and help to supervise a junior bookkeeper. The company allow hybrid working (currently 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home). One of the perks of working for the company is that staff are given tickets to shows and events.

To be considered for this position, you must:

– Have a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience

– Have experience of working for either a talent management company or for an accountancy firm which specialises in music

– Have good initiative and be able to work independently

– Ideally be AAT qualified or qualified by experience
