Project Manager
to join our busy engineering team, supporting the delivery of a high volume of planned and reactive projects across the construction and water sectors.About the roleThis is a field-based role requiring regular travel, operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. It offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical works-often to tight timescales-while gaining exposure to a broad range of technical disciplines and real-world project challenges.

Managing and supporting delivery of multiple fast-turnaround engineering projectsCoordinating teams, contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects on trackTaking ownership of project timelines, costs, and quality outcomesSupporting mobilisation of works, including temporary solutions when neededMonitoring progress and proactively resolving issues before they impact deliveryHandling reactive and emergency works, including occasional out-of-hours supportForecasting costs and keeping projects aligned with budgetsEnsuring smooth handover to operations and completing project close-out documentationChampioning health & safety compliance across all activitiesWhat we are looking for:
Essential
Experience within the construction and/or water industryStrong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills, with a proactive, can-do attitudeAbility to think laterally and solve problems efficientlySound working knowledge of health and safety requirementsComfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience in managing or supporting project budgets and cost controlFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sitesFlexibility to accommodate emergency or reactive work outside normal working hoursTechnical Knowledge (one or more of the following):
