Finance Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Sandycroft, Deeside – Hybrid – 2 days working from home
Salary: Up to £29,000 PA
Contract: Temporary until November 2026
We’re working with a friendly and well-established business looking for a Finance Assistant to support the finance team on a temporary basis until November. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Sage 50 experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and the flexibility of hybrid working.
The role
You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function, helping to keep everything running smoothly during a busy period. Typical duties will include:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing supplier payments and bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate records on Sage 50
- Assisting with month-end tasks
- Handling finance queries and supporting the wider team as needed
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Comfortable working to deadlines
- A positive, team-focused attitude
