An established and highly respected automotive retail group is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team on a maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting day-to-day financial reporting and accounting operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Management Accountant, responsibilities will include:
· Assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities
· Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
· Responding to finance-related queries from senior management and operational teams
· Liaising with regional and group finance departments to ensure consistency across reporting processes
· Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and controls
The Candidate

· Strong communication and organisational skills
Previous experience within a Car Dealership and an accounts or finance environment is desirable. Candidates studying towards an accounting qualification or looking to further develop their finance career are encouraged to apply.
