FM33441Generator Engineer£40,000 – £50,000GlasgowAlecto Recruitment are working with a well-established power generation company who are seeking a Generator Engineer to support the servicing, maintenance, and installation of generator systems across customer sites, ensuring reliable performance and minimal downtime.Key Responsibilities & TasksCarry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of generator systems and control equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on generators and associated systems.Work on control panels and switchgear, ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.Conduct load bank testing and support upgrades to control systems.Deliver high-quality work on customer sites while maintaining professional standards.Ensure compliance with HSQE standards, company procedures, and legislation.Manage spare parts, stock control, and complete all required documentation and records.Participate in on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.Skills & RequirementsTime-served Generator Engineer.Experience fault finding on generator control panels and switchgear.Competent in portable load bank testing.Familiar with Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers and control system upgrades.Proven fault finding and diagnostic ability.Full UK driving licence and basic IT skills required.???????
