Job Title: Remedials Co-ordinatorLocation: Woodgate Valley, BirminghamJob PurposeThe role involves liaison between clients and field engineers, processing service reports, and generating remedial quotations.What you will be doingProcess and review engineer reports using Corrigo work management systemInterpret technical reports to identify defects, faults, and compliance issuesDiagnose problems from engineer feedback and determine appropriate remedial actionsRaise remedial works cost estimation and quotationsPrepare risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for fire protection works as requiredMaintain accurate documentation and records for audit and compliance purposesAddress client queries and concerns professionally and promptlyBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal engineers, service team and clients.What well need from youDemonstrable experience working with fire sprinkler systems and fire pumps (highly desirable) or the engineering/FM industry.Understanding of fire protection system maintenance requirements and standards (highly desirable).Knowledge of health and safety requirements related to fire protection systems (highly desirable).Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency with work management systems (Corrigo experience advantageous)Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and engineer liaison (essential)Ability to interpret technical engineering reports and identify system faults (training will be provided) (highly desirable)Competent in fault diagnosis and problem-solving (training will be provided) (highly desriable)Capable of producing accurate cost estimates for remedial works (essential)Experience in preparing risk assessments and method statements (essential)Highly motivated with strong self-management capabilities (essential)Knowledge of relevant British Standards (BS 9251, BS EN 12845, etc.) (desirable)Experience with other computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) (highly desirable)What you can expect in returnSalary Range competitive and negotiable depending on relevant experience25 days holiday plus bank holidays and option to buy 5 daysContributory company pension schemeLife AssuranceHealth care schemeHours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.45 16.40, Friday 8.45 16:00)Please note: You may be required to undertake a DBS check as part of your job role at Hall & Kay.About UsAt Hall & Kay, we deliver complex fire protection and security solutions to protect what matters most to our clients.
