- Class Size: Small groups of 8-12 pupils with additional teaching assistant support

The school supports pupils with severe learning difficulties, many of whom have autism, and is part of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust that prioritises research, creativity, and staff development.You will be teaching small classes of pupils with additional needs, supported by experienced teaching assistants and a highly collaborative team. The role requires flexibility, resilience, and a creative approach to engage and support every learner effectively.Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with ASD and complex needs through targeted interventions and personalised strategies
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with pupil needs and progress
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, carers, and external professionals
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other specialists to provide holistic support
- Promote both academic progress and personal development for each pupil
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and child-centred school environment
