Junior Physiotherapist (Bank)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of physiotherapy intervention to patients, prioritising referrals and implementing effective caseload management.
• Conduct assessment and diagnosis of patients with physical and emotional needs.
• Formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes, ensuring effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring of treatment standards.
• Maintain compliance with all professional, clinical and governance standards, and participate in audit and quality assurance processes.
• Utilise working hours with full clinical treatments where possible.
• Follow procedures for referring patients to and from the clinic correctly.
• Accurately maintain clinical records in accordance with legal requirements.
• Embed Clinical Governance and risk management in daily practice.
• Provide and receive patient information, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and Spire policies.
• Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
• HPC Registered.

Experience

• Evidence of substantial CPD in management and other clinically related subjects.
• Previous experience working in the private healthcare sector.
• Experience managing clinical audits.
