Are you a passionate and experienced educator with expertise in Further Education and Skills
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicant to join our Initial Teacher Education (ITE) Primary and Education Studies team at the University of Brighton. In this fixed-term, full-time role based at our Falmer campus, you will join a collaborative and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality teaching and an excellent student experience.
Our work in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) provision was rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in our most recent 2024 inspection. National Student Survey outcomes for our undergraduate provision in education are excellent, with all but one category of question above the sector average. You will play a key role in shaping the learning of trainee teachers and education students across both subject-specific and wider education provision.
Your Role Will Include
Where possible, we align responsibilities with your strengths and interests.
Within the role you will develop and utilise a range of teaching methods and ways of supporting student learning. These may include: lectures, seminars, tutorials, forms of e-learning, workshops, and individual supervision.
