Proof of qualifications and/or professional registration will be required if an offer of employment is made – if you are unable to provide this, the offer may be withdrawn ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Qualifications/ Registration Band 6 applicants Must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Biomedical Scientist AND have completed IBMS Specialist Diploma (or equivalent) in relevant discipline AND have at least 1 year’s post HCPC registration experience in the relevant discipline. OR Have been employed as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6) in 3 of the last 6 years, working in the relevant discipline. Applicant must have maintained HCPC registration and appear on the register. Other Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
