to take ownership of projects from tendering through to order and fabrication, working across both technical and customer-facing environments.As an

Electrical Design Engineer , you will be responsible for supporting tendering activity from the design, costing and quoting stage through to production and delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

The

will work closely with customers, the design office and the workshop to deliver engineered solutions on time and to specification.

Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the customer journey from initial enquiry through to deliverySupport the design, costing, quoting, production and delivery of engineered electrical systemsPrepare and issue drawings using AutoCAD LT for customer approval and shop floor fabricationEngage with clients to understand requirements and provide technical guidanceWork confidently across customer-facing, design office and production environmentsUtilise industry-standard switchgear platforms and power factor correction systems where applicableEnsure compliance with relevant UK electrical standards and internal quality requirementsAbout YouExperienced
