In this role, you will work closely with the General Counsel in the team and collaborate with the wider legal team in Europe.

R&D research-related legal support : Provide legal guidance across the business, from Procurement and R&D to Marketing and Business Development
General Contract support : Statutory Compliance Support: Data protection, anti-bribery, modern slavery, and export controls
Conduct training sessions for non-legal staff on compliance issues and other legal risk areas
Regional Collaboration: Work with the European legal team to support research centres across the U.At least 2 years post SQE experience in the technology sector, either in a law firm or in-house at a technology company
Experience of working with ECJU and other government departments on export control and trade compliance issues
Strong knowledge of UK commercial law, statutory compliance, IP, and data privacy.
Ability to explain complex legal issues in plain, jargon-free English
