focused and legally compliant services that protect customers and strengthen communities.If you are passionate about prevention, early intervention, safeguarding and achieving positive outcomes for customers, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of neighbourhood safety.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Neighbourhood Safety Services, including day-to-day delivery, service planning and continuous improvementProvide both strategic (long-term) and operational (day-to-day) leadership across ASB, enforcement, mediation and tenancy fraud servicesDevelop and review policies and procedures so they reflect legislation, best practice and new or emerging risksBe a visible and supportive leader for managers and specialist teamsSupport the management of complex and high-risk cases, including safeguarding, organised crime and hate incidentsBuild and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, police, community groups and regional networksOversee performance measures, KPIs and quality standards to ensure services are effective and consistentLead, develop and support managers and teams to build a skilled, confident and supported workforceManage budgets and resources to deliver value for moneyLead service improvements and changes to better meet customer needs and organisational prioritiesEnsure equality, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and customer focus are part of everyday practiceWhat youll need to succeedExperience leading multiple teams within neighbourhood safety, housing or a related fieldStrong knowledge of housing and neighbourhood safety legislation, or the ability to learn and apply this knowledge with supportAbility to communicate clearly and build positive, productive working relationshipsExperience of delivering projects, service improvements or organisational changeA practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving and service deliveryStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlinesConfidence using digital systems, including Microsoft 365 and case management systemsA full UK driving licence and willingness to complete a DBS checkWe recognise that people gain skills and experience in different ways.
