POST: Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice
LOCATION: Oasis Academy Hobmoor, Wash Ln, Birmingham B25 8FD
SALARY: National Apprenticeship Wage of £8.58 per hour. After 12 months of being on an apprentice wage, this will then go up to minimum wage.
CONTRACT: Fixed Term Contract for 19 months.
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 34 hours per week (shift times TBC)
START DATE: September 2026

Role Overview:
As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced educators to support the development and well-being of children under the age of 5, including pupils with special educational needs, on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will assist in planning and implementing engaging activities, play opportunities and experiences, observing and documenting children’s progress, and creating a nurturing environment conducive to learning and exploration.

All candidates participate in an initial intense training programme at the start of the selection process. During this period, our experienced staff will prepare candidates for their placements by giving them the foundations they need to secure a placement.
Our recruitment team will also be on hand to support you with interview skills ready for a placement interview.
