Accounts Payable Manager

Reed Accountancy is partnering with a market leading multi-national organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.

The main purpose of the role will be to oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations across multiple global sites.

This is a business-critical role within a fast-paced and high-volume finance function, providing a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join a highly successful and expanding organisation.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across multiple international entities
• Managing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume AP department
• Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all AP processes
• Driving continuous process improvements within the AP function
• Managing invoice matching and query resolution where required
• Ensuring payment runs are accurately organised and executed
• Overseeing and assisting with payment processing activities
• Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across finance and operational teams globally
• Reviewing and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly controls and KPIs
• Leading, developing, and supporting AP teams, ensuring high performance and engagement
• Conducting regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and appraisals
• Delivering coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members
• Ensuring all processes are completed in line with internal controls and audit requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable management position or similar leadership role, preferably in a multi-national organisation
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Confidence with stakeholder management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A high and consistent level of professionalism
• The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient in response to changing business needs
