Finance Assistant (Temporary Cover)
Location: Outskirts of York
Salary: £26,000 (pro rata)
Job Type: Medium-term temporary assignment

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to provide essential cover within a busy finance team based in modern offices on the outskirts of York. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a solid financial background and strong SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inputting purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner

· Recording incoming bank payments

· Taking card payments over the phone and processing securely

· Managing credit control activities, including chasing outstanding debt

· Providing general support across the finance function

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a finance or accounts role

· Strong working knowledge of SAP

· Confident communicator, particularly when handling customer payments and credit control

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to manage workload independently
