Senior Bid Writer Certain Advantage are hiring for a Senior Bid Writer based in Preston. This is a permanent role and requires full-time onsite attendance.You will lead the coordination and preparation of high-quality PQQ and tender submissions, combining strong bid writing capability with light bid management responsibilities.Your ResponsibilitiesProducing a bid programme and submission planOrganising bid kick-off meetingsAllocating responsibilities for bid inputsCoordinating contributions from estimators, planners and operational staffTracking progress against deadlinesManaging tender clarificationsEnsuring compliance with client requirementsAssembling and submitting final tender documentationWrite clear, persuasive responses to PQQs, tenders and framework submissionsTranslate technical information into structured, client-focused responsesDevelop methodology responses, project approaches and value proposalsReview and improve contributions from technical team membersEdit and proofread submissions to ensure clarity and consistencyEnsure responses align with identified win themes The individual:Strong bid writing experienceExperience coordinating tender submissionsConstruction or civil engineering sector experience desirableAbility to analyse tender questions and scoring criteriaSkilled at extracting technical knowledge from subject expertsExcellent written communication skillsStrong editing and proofreading abilityAbility to prioritise work across multiple concurrent tendersStrong organisational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Experience with document design tools (InDesign or similar) Does this sound like your next career move?
