Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Academic Writing and Study Skills Lecturer – London to work on a contractual basis. This person will be responsible for teaching and supporting students in academic writing and study skills, within the education industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with students and contribute to their academic development, which is crucial for their future success.
Key Responsibilities:
• The lecturer will be responsible for designing and delivering academic writing and study skills courses to students, utilizing various teaching methods and materials.
• The lecturer will provide individualized support to students, helping them to improve their academic writing and study skills, and achieve their academic goals.
• The lecturer will assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
• The lecturer will collaborate with other educators and staff members to develop and implement academic programs, ensuring consistency and quality across the board.
• The lecturer will stay up-to-date with the latest developments in academic writing and study skills, incorporating new methods and technologies into their teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• The successful candidate will have a strong educational background, with a degree in a relevant field, such as education, English, or a related subject, and a proven track record of teaching academic writing and study skills.
• The candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and provide constructive feedback and support.
• The candidate will have experience with online learning platforms and technologies, with the ability to design and deliver online courses and support students in a remote learning environment.
• The candidate will have a strong understanding of academic writing and study skills, with the ability to design and deliver courses that meet the needs of students, and help them to achieve their academic goals.
• The candidate will have a flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
