I’m working with a well-established, specialist environmental & planning consultancy looking to hire an experienced Minerals & Waste Planning Consultant at Senior or Principal level.This is a genuinely strong opportunity for someone who wants to step into a role with more ownership, technical depth and client exposure, working on complex projects across the minerals, waste and environmental sectors.💼 The role:Lead and contribute to a range of planning and environmental projectsManage EIAs and Environmental StatementsOversee planning applications and DCO submissionsCoordinate internal teams and external specialistsProvide clear, practical advice to clients and stakeholdersSupport business development and ongoing client relationships✅ What they’re looking for:Solid experience in minerals & waste planning (essential)Strong understanding of UK planning policy and environmental legislationExperience working on or delivering EIA projectsComfortable managing projects, budgets and multiple stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsRTPI (or similar) membership preferred🌱 Why this role?Work on technically interesting, high-impact projectsJoin a respected, specialist consultancy with a strong reputationGain direct exposure to senior leadership and clientsClear scope for progression and professional development
