Maternity Cover – construction lawyer12 months FTCBirmingham based HQ – but remote working available with occasional office attendanceFull time or part time (3 / 4 days per week)An opportunity has arisen for a construction lawyer to join a global organisation where you will lead on construction a range of non-contentious areas.Our client is an innovative cutting-edge business in the building and construction sector, working across a variety of landscapes including residential and commercial development, infrastructure, education and healthcare, both in the UK and internationally.This long-established business, with a successful and mature legal team, has a need for an experienced lawyer for 12 months to cover maternity leave for one of the team.It is anticipated that the role will involve primarily involve leading on non-contentious construction contracts as well as supporting on broader areas such as commercial agreements, training, insurance and compliance areas.We are keen to hear from lawyers with a good level of experience in construction, with at least 5PQE, so you are able to take a leading role in the strategic handling of the business’s risk and on-going contentious matters.
