About us
The Department of Theology & Religious Studies (TRS) welcomes applicants for the role of fixed-term Lecturer in Theology and the Arts (AEP).

The successful candidate will teach on a number of modules in the area of Theology and the Arts.
About the role
As Lecturer in Theology and the Arts you will contribute to teaching on our BA and MA programmes, including the modules Religion and the Arts in London, and The Idea of Beauty in Western Theology (taught over two semesters). You will convene the dissertation module for the MA in Theology, Bible and the Arts.
You will assess coursework and examinations, and undertake Undergraduate and MA dissertation supervision.
You will contribute to scholarship within the department and to the wider research environment.
You will contribute to the welfare of students through the Personal Tutor System, and fulfil administrative roles and tasks as directed by Head of Department, as well as contributing to departmental events and activities, including attendance at departmental meetings and open days.
Applicants for this role would normally be in the early stages of an academic career, with a profile appropriate to appointment at Lecturer level. We encourage applicants from all parts of the world and from people who may have been marginalised on any grounds covered by the UK Equality Act (2010) who will be appropriately supported in the workplace.
