Job Description Job: Senior Accountant Location: North Bradford Area Salary: up to £45,000 A well established independent accountancy practice in the North Bradford area is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded practice professional who enjoys working closely with clients, supporting business owners, and providing advice beyond traditional compliance work. The role offers a highly varied workload, direct exposure to Partners, and the opportunity to become a key figure within an established and respected practice. Benefits * Competitive salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience * Hybrid working * Direct exposure to Partners and senior decision makers * flexible working * Broad exposure to forecasting, business planning and advisory projects * Company pension * Long-term progression opportunities within an established firm Responsibilities * Managing a portfolio of SME clients * Acting as a key point of contact for client relationships * Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts * Reviewing work completed by junior team members * Supporting business advisory and consultancy projects * Assisting clients with forecasting, cashflow planning and commercial decision making * Supporting Partners with technical and client-related matters * Providing practical solutions across a broad range of accounting and business issues * Assisting with tax-related work and client queries where required Requirements * Previous experience working within UK accountancy practice * ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience considered * Strong accounts preparation and client management experience * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively * Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service Why apply?
