What we are looking for…

An experienced pensions calculations specialist to join us on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.Within this role you will be joining a small pensions calculations team, on a key portfolio to review and remediate historic pensions advice within one of our core clients. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating pension-related complaints, analysing complex cases, and producing clear, accurate outcomes for customers. You will play a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering fair customer outcomes.

Knowledge & Experience

• Good understanding of Defined Benefit (Final Salary) pension schemes (preferred but DC scheme experience also open to )
• Awareness of historic pension reviews and legacy personal pension arrangements
• Strong knowledge of pension products and retirement options available to customers
• Understanding of current pensions legislation, risk, and regulatory frameworks
• Awareness of data protection requirements and best practice
• Educated to A-level standard or equivalent

Desirable:

• Experience within financial services or pensions administration
• Familiarity with complaint handling frameworks and regulatory expectations
• Knowledge of CRM or complaints management systems
• Experience with pension calculation tools or administration platforms

What you’ll be doing…

Managing and investigating customer complaints from initial review through to resolution

• Analysing complex pension cases and identifying appropriate outcomes
• Producing high-quality written reports and case summaries
• Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information
• Ensuring all work aligns with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Delivering excellent customer service through clear and professional communication
