Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.Fantastic payrate of £30 per hour!Are you an Adults Social Worker, passionate about making a difference in your community?Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity!Responsibilities of this role:Lead safeguarding enquiries under Section 42, ensuring concerns are assessed, investigated, and managed in line with statutory duties.Carry out risk assessments and develop safety plans that protect adults at risk while promoting independence and wellbeing.Work collaboratively with partner agencies such as health, police, housing, and voluntary services to ensure coordinated safeguarding responses.Undertake mental capacity assessments and apply the Mental Capacity Act, ensuring decisions are made in the person’s best interests where required.Create clear, evidence-based reports and present findings at safeguarding meetings, strategy discussions, and case conferences.Maintain accurate, timely case recordings in line with local authority standards and legislative requirements.Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues, partner agencies, and families on safeguarding procedures and best practice.Requirements of this role:Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work EnglandMust have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experienceBenefits of working through Reed, include:Dedicated Recruitment Consultant.Aftercare service delivered by Candidate Care Team.Free CV building and Interview support.Free DBS checks.Weekly payroll.PAYE payroll option with additional benefits including holiday pay, healthcare, pension plus more.CPD contributions.Access to full UK jobs market with top tier status across many public and private sector clients.Supporting the Reed Foundation which has given £9.5m to charity since 2010.Does this role interest you?
