If you’re a Gas Safe engineer who knows Central London like the back of your hand and you’re comfortable jumping between sites, handling reactive call-outs, and getting on with the job independently, this one’s worth a look. Our client is busy, growing, and needs someone who can hit the ground running.About our clientThey’re an established property maintenance business operating across prime residential properties throughout Central London. With a strong and growing portfolio, they’ve built a reputation for delivering quality across high-end, occupied developments and they’re expanding the team to keep pace with demand.The roleThis is a mobile, reactive position covering planned and reactive maintenance works across residential sites in Central London. You’ll be out on the road daily, working across multiple properties, handling everything from routine servicing to emergency call-outs. The working window is 7am to 6pm with 40 guaranteed hours per week, and you’ll join an on-call rota roughly one week in three. PAYE and self-employed options are both available.What you’ll be doingCarrying out landlord gas safety inspections (CP12s) and boiler servicing across residential propertiesDiagnosing faults and completing repairs, including boiler breakdownsResponding to emergency call-outs as part of the on-call rotaUndertaking boiler installations and upgrades where requiredCompleting job reports and documentation accurately after each visitRepresenting the business professionally when working in occupied, high-end residential propertiesSkills and experienceEssentialCurrent Gas Safe registration with domestic ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)Solid background in domestic gas servicing, fault finding, and reactive maintenanceExperience working across multiple sites in Central LondonComfortable with on-call requirements and reactive call-outsFull UK driving licence with experience driving in LondonDesirableCommercial gas ticketsSelf-employed background with own vanExperience attending emergency call-outs in a fast-paced environmentWhy join themCompetitive PAYE rate with strong OTE through overtime and call-out pay, or a day rate for those on a self-employed basis. A van is provided for PAYE engineers. You’ll have consistent, varied work across some of London’s finest residential properties, with the backing of an operations and helpdesk team.
