Senior Mechanical EstimatorCentral London | Major ProjectsComprehensive Salary & Benefits PackageTClarke is one of the UK’s leading building services contractors, delivering complex engineering solutions across some of the country’s most prestigious commercial, residential, healthcare, education, data centre and infrastructure projects.With over 135 years of engineering excellence and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our established Pre-Construction team in Central London.This is an opportunity to play a key role in securing high-profile projects, working alongside experienced design, commercial and operational teams from bid stage through to project delivery.The RoleAs a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical estimating function on major projects, ensuring competitive and commercially robust submissions while supporting the continued growth of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical estimating activities across major tenders and negotiated opportunities.Produce detailed and competitive cost plans for HVAC, public health and mechanical building services packages.Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify commercial opportunities and technical risks.Manage supplier and subcontractor enquiries, analysing quotations and benchmarking market rates.Work closely with pre-construction managers, design teams and operational teams throughout the bid process.Contribute to value engineering initiatives, tender strategy and client presentations.Support and mentor junior estimators within the team.Maintain awareness of market conditions, labour trends and material pricing.About YouProven experience as a Mechanical Estimator or Senior Mechanical Estimator within the building services or MEP sector.Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services systems and installation methodologies.Experience pricing major commercial, healthcare, residential, data centre or other technically complex projects.Ability to manage multiple tenders while maintaining a high level of commercial accuracy and attention to detail.Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Experience using industry-standard estimating software and Microsoft Office packages.Why Join TClarke?Opportunity to work on some of London’s most prestigious and technically challenging developments.Secure pipeline of work with long-standing clients and repeat business opportunities.Join a financially stable, publicly listed business with a strong reputation across the construction industry.Work within a collaborative and highly experienced pre-construction team.Clear opportunities for career progression and professional development.Competitive salary, bonus potential and comprehensive benefits package.If you’re looking to join a business with a long-standing reputation for engineering excellence and want to play a key role in securing major projects across London and the South East, we’d like to hear from you.Apply now or contact us for a confidential discussion.All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
