This is a brand-new position for a passionate and tenacious revenue generating professional.

Start date: July/August 2026

Reporting to: Director of Development

Contract & hours: Permanent. Full-time or part-time (min 4 days pw)

Hybrid: 2 days pw at their East London office, with additional travel as required.

Hire Purpose is working with a London-based social mobility charity that connects young people with employers, workplaces and career opportunities.

You will be tasked with:

• Identifying new business development opportunities
• Developing and building a robust pipeline of new prospect
• Securing multi-year agreements with corporates across the Corporate and Trust and Foundations sector
• Work with the SLT to develop and implement their longer-term income generation strategy

The Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager will have:

• Successfully of identified, secured, and developed multiple long-term corporate partnerships at five figures or above.
• Experience in planning and managing corporate fundraising programmes
• An understanding of corporate CSR programmes
• A background of working across the education, employability and/or the charity sector

The charity are seeking a commercially minded and relationship driven professional with expertise across Fundraising, sales and new business acquisition, pipeline development and who thrives at nurturing productive relationships. It is fundamental to the success of this role that the successful candidate is enthusiastic about advancing social mobility of young people.
