This is a key appointment within the business, responsible for leading and delivering the firm’s learning and development strategy across multiple offices.Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, department heads and line managers to design and implement learning solutions that support career development, improve performance and promote a culture of continuous learning throughout the firm.Key Responsibilities:Designing, developing and managing the firm’s Learning & Development functionLeading the ongoing development and management of the Learning Management System (LMS)Conducting learning needs analysis and creating firmwide, departmental and individual development plansDesigning, delivering and evaluating training programmes using a variety of modern learning methodsMaintaining training records, LMS data and governance processesManaging the L&D budget and Apprenticeship LevyProducing management information and Board-level reports on learning activity and outcomesBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders across the businessManaging relationships with external training providers and learning partnersSupporting leadership and management development initiativesPromoting a culture of continuous learning and professional developmentSupporting wider HR projects, employee engagement initiatives and accreditation programmesAssisting with solicitor development and SRA competency requirementsWhat We’re Looking For:Previous Learning & Development management experience within legal or professional services environmentsProven experience designing and delivering learning programmes across all levels of an organisationStrong project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneouslyExperience supporting leadership and management developmentExperience delivering large-scale organisational change programmesCIPD Level 5 qualified (or above) or equivalentStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience using and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)Confident working with data, reporting and training analyticsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel between offices when requiredThe Perks:Hybrid working policyEmployee bonus schemeAnnual salary reviewsMedicash healthcare cash planEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Increasing annual leave entitlement with servicePaid volunteering daysFree conveyancing for your primary residence purchase or saleFree individual or mirror willsEmployee referral schemeStructured promotion and salary review opportunitiesRegular social events and staff recognition programmesLong-term career development opportunities within a growing law firmIf you’re interested in this role, hit the apply button or reach out to Jack Lloyd directly at jack.lloyd@oculuslegalgroup.com
