Head of Operations & Culture East LondonOffice BasedSalary: c£70,000 About the RoleWe are looking for an operations-focused professional with a strong understanding of CRM systems and data, alongside experience in managing client contracts and overseeing production processes.The successful candidate will also bring a proven ability to implement cultural change initiatives and drive employee engagement across a business. It requires someone who can take a hands-on, operational approach to improving performance and embedding excellence across teams.The ideal individual will be someone who combines strategic thinking with practical delivery, and who stands out through their ability to elevate how a business operates day to day.What You’ll Be DoingGrowth & DevelopmentLead company-wide learning and development programmesIdentify skills gaps and implement targeted training initiativesDesign clear career pathways and progression frameworksSupport and coach current and future leadersOperational ExcellenceTake ownership of internal operations, ensuring efficiency and scalabilityReview and improve systems, workflows and ways of workingAct as a senior escalation point for cross-functional issuesRisk & Governance Manage and review company insurance policies to ensure appropriate coverageIdentify and mitigate operational and commercial risksEnsure ongoing compliance across the businessData & ComplianceAct as ICO Officer, leading data protection and GDPR complianceMaintain robust policies, procedures and trainingOversee Subject Access Requests and data-related queriesSystems & Infrastructure Oversee and optimise the current FileMaker CRMLead evaluation and implementation of future systemsEnsure systems support commercial and operational teams effectivelyBrand & Visibility Own the corporate website and ensure alignment with brand and business prioritiesDrive continuous improvement in external presentationRecognition & AwardsLead internal recognition initiativesDrive participation in industry awards and external recognitionPeople & CulturePartner with senior leadership to deliver a people strategy aligned with growth plansHelp evolve the business into a flexible, inclusive, high-performing workplaceDrive initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing and retentionWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in a fast-paced, commercial environment (events, media or agency preferred)Strong knowledge of UK employment law and complianceA hands-on leader who can balance strategy with deliveryConfident influencing senior stakeholdersHighly organised, solutions-focused and adaptableExperience improving operational processes and systemsComfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
