Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

The role has overall responsibility for the communications and events outputs of the Law School. The scale of this work is significant, with over 200 events per year usually during LSE term time. The post-holder works collaboratively with academic and professional leads of events and activities to design, plan and deliver events and creative communications content to the professional highest standards. The post-holder leads a team of events and communications professionals, allocating work to them and ensuring quality in delivery. The post-holder also gathers data relevant to the scope of the role to review successes, plan future activity, and influence the strategic direction and presentation of the Law School.
Candidates must have significant experience of managing engaging and impactful events in a Higher Education setting, as well as experience of marketing and communications in the HE sector. Line management experience is essential, as are excellent written and oral communications skills. The ability to present ideas and proposals to influence peers and senior colleagues is also essential, along with the drive, determination and resilience to perform consistently and under pressure to the highest levels of service delivery.
