Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative working within the Despatch Department. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to meet deadlines, be self-motivated, have good communication skills, and be a team player. The role involves supporting the operation of the Despatch department whilst working in alignment with HMG Paints operating procedures and health and safety policies
Hours of work:
- Hours of work: 38 ¾ hours per week Monday to Friday
- Monthly profit related bonus
Responsibilities:
- Receive and check deliveries
- Store goods safely
- Pick and pack orders accurately
- Maintain stock records
- Prepare dispatch paperwork
- Operate equipment (if qualified)
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Skills & Attributes
Essential:
- Reliable and detail-focused
- Able to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Forklift licence
- Paint/coatings industry experience
- Warehouse experience
