About C&D Foods
C&D Foods is one of Europe’s leading own-label pet food manufacturers, producing a wide range of wet and dry pet foods. The company operates seven production facilities across six countries (Ireland, Denmark, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands, and the UK), along with two sales offices in Germany and Italy.
Our Larkshall site, located in Norfolk, is one of the key producers of dry pet food within the business.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our Goods In & Out department. Joining the C&D Foods team provides an excellent opportunity for career growth, with full training, PPE, and ongoing development and progression opportunities.
Reporting to the Senior Team Leader, the role supports the efficient operation of warehouse activities to meet customer and business requirements at the Larkshall site.
Key Responsibilities
Operating forklifts, including loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
Assisting with the processing and movement of orders
Managing incoming packaging, including unloading, labelling, storage, and sampling, while liaising with Quality Control where required
Maintaining accurate LPR pallet documentation to ensure effective pallet tracking and control
Ensuring all work areas, both indoors and outdoors, are clean, safe, and well-maintained
Supporting space management activities, including reorganising racking to accommodate production and finished goods
Picking orders accurately in line with picking lists
Carrying out any other duties as required by the Customer Service & Warehouse Manager
Key Competencies
Strong timekeeping and reliability
Ability to work independently and use initiative
A team-oriented approach with good communication skills
Current FLT (Fork Lift Truck) licence (desirable)
