Type: Field-based (home-based) Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible) Avantor is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join the UK Service team, covering a key territory in and around London. This is a field-based role focused on providing technical support across laboratory equipment, ensuring installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair activities are delivered to a high standard while maintaining strong customer relationships. Install, service, and repair laboratory equipment across client sites Perform calibration, validation, and preventative maintenance Deliver a high-quality customer experience on-site Provide technical guidance and support to customers Plan and manage service visits efficiently within the assigned territory Identify opportunities to support service and product offerings Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3+ years’ experience in field service or technical support Strong electronic and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in a field-based role Full, clean UK driving licence Willingness to travel across the assigned territory Proximity to these locations is important to ensure efficient travel and effective coverage of the customer base. Travel required across the South UK / London area Ongoing technical training, including quarterly sessions It enables medical devices that help a little boy hear his mom’s voice for the first time.
