Software Engineering Specialist Job at Ipswich Full Time NEW

The RoleWe are looking for a hands‑on BMC Remedy / Helix ITSM specialist to support and enhance aplex enterprise ITSM environment. This is a delivery‑focused, technical role for someone who actively administers, configures, and customises Remedy, not a process‑only or ServiceNow‑first profile.You will work on a mission‑critical Remedy/Helix estate covering ITSM modules, CMDB, integrations and bespoke development.Please note: this role requires 5 days per week on‑site in Ipswich.Key Responsibilities

• Administering, configuring and enhancing BMC Remedy / Helix ITSM
• Supporting Incident, Change, Problem, SRM and SLM
• Maintaining and improving CMDB / Atrium, Discovery and integrations
• Remedy upgrades, migrations and defect resolution
• Bespoke workflow, form, filter and escalation development
• Acting as a 2nd / 3rd‑line Remedy SME
• Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong, hands‑on experience with BMC Remedy AR System / Helix
• ITSM module administration and configuration
• Solid CMDB / Atrium expertise
• Remedy customisation and troubleshooting experience
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
• Willingness to work on‑site full‑time in Ipswich

Desirable Experience

• Smart IT, Digital Workplace, Smart Reporting
• BMC Discovery / ADDM and third‑party integrations
• Tels, utilities,ernment or large enterprise experience
• ITIL certification
