Sales Engineer – Fluid Power ⭐Covering West Midlands Full time, Permanent With decades of experience supplying components, systems, and engineering support to a diverse customer base across manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and industrial markets, they have built a strong reputation for technical expertise and customer-centric service. As Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts whilst actively prospecting for new business across the West Midlands territory. Manage, retain, and grow a defined territory of accounts across the West Midlands Identify and convert new business opportunities through proactive outreach and customer visits Collaborate with internal engineering and applications teams to deliver bespoke solutions Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting using internal CRM systems Attend industry events, exhibitions, and training to maintain product knowledge Demonstrable field sales experience within the hydraulics sector Alternatively, strong sales experience within a closely related fluid power discipline (pneumatics, process, industrial fluid handling) Solid technical understanding of hydraulic components and systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, power units) Proven ability to develop new business alongside managing existing accounts Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to sales Full UK driving licence
