We’re expanding and looking for a skilled, self-motivated Mobile Smart Repair Technician to join our growing team. You’ll work independently from a fully-equipped company van, travelling to customers at their home, workplace, or dealership to carry out high-quality cosmetic repairs on-site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician ready to take the next step, with real scope to progress into a senior or team lead position as we continue to grow.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Bumper scuff and bodywork scratch repairs carried out to a high cosmetic standard at the customer’s location
* Alloy wheel and diamond cut kerb damage repairs, restoring wheels to a factory finish
* Managing your own daily job schedule and liaising directly with customers
* Maintaining your mobile workshop (company van), keeping equipment clean, stocked, and ready
* Delivering outstanding customer service on every visit and explaining work clearly
* Supporting and guiding junior technicians or apprentices where required
* Completing quality checks and taking post-repair photographs for job records and sign-off
* Adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards at all times
*Requirements*
* Vehicle spraying experience — proven ability with automotive spray painting and colour matching
* Wheel spraying experience — hands-on refinishing and spraying of alloy wheels
* Ability to work independently — self-manage a full diary, work unsupervised, and meet targets
* Van driving experience — full UK driving licence with experience driving and manoeuvring a panel van
* People management experience — able to supervise or mentor other technicians on site
* SMART repair training or trade qualifications (desirable but not essential)
