We are supporting a leading Investment Management organisation who are looking for a Data Engineer to join a high-performing Investment Data & Operations team on a long-term transformation programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Python and SQL engineering skills, combined with experience working across investment data, integrations, and operational automation within Asset / Investment Management or Financial Services.

You will work closely with Investment Operations, Investment Data, and central Data Engineering teams to design, build, and support scalable data integrations across investment platforms, reporting environments, and operational systems.
Responsibilities *Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and integrations across investment systems and reporting platforms
*Build scalable solutions for the ingestion, transformation, and distribution of investment data
*Work closely with operational and investment stakeholders to improve data quality, controls, and governance
*Automate manual operational workflows across areas such as:
*Capital calls
*Distributions
*Cash management
*Trade settlement
*Investment reporting
*Develop API-driven integrations between internal and external platforms
*Partner with central Data Engineering and Architecture teams on best practices and platform standards
*Support the modernisation of investment data processes using automation and AI-enabled approaches
Experience *Strong experience as a Data Engineer, Integration Engineer, or similar role within Asset / Investment Management or Financial Services
*Strong Python and SQL development experience
*Experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and integrations
*Understanding of investment and portfolio data concepts, including:
*NAVs
*IRRs
*Portfolio structures
*Holdings
*Transactions
*Investment performance data
*Experience working with APIs and automated data workflows
*Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
*Experience in improving or automating operational processes through technology
Desirable Experience *Addepar platform or Addepar API experience
*Experience with Azure-based data platforms and tooling
*Bloomberg data integration experience
*PowerShell scripting
*Microsoft Graph API experience
*Experience with AI-enabled engineering, automation, or operational tooling
*Exposure to private markets, alternatives, or multi-asset investment environments
