Security Manager Job at Mossblown Full Time NEW

We’re looking for an inspiring Security Manager to lead our dedicated security team and help create an exceptional, safe experience for every guest who visits our park. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring our environment is welcoming, secure, and running smoothly.

You’ll take the lead in recruiting, training, and developing your team – empowering them to deliver outstanding service and support across the park.  

nWhat you will be doing…n

• n
• Planning resource levels to ensure the park has the required level of security.  n
• Utilising Security team members to effectively patrol the park, providing a deterrent and preventing situations where necessary.  n
• Ensuring compliance with security assignment instructions.  n
• Managing incidents and situations, ensuring correct escalation, and reporting.   n
• Managing security technology and CCTV.   n
• Carrying out full and unbiased investigations, providing detailed statements and reports, ensuring that all security activity has been recorded appropriately.  n
• Using the on-park systems to review security Data.  n
• Identifying and managing security vulnerabilities and risks to the park.  n
• Liaising with local enforcement authorities for routine inspections and investigations.  n
• Attending Management and Regional Meetings to promote security awareness to colleagues.   n
• Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust and continuous improvement.  n
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team briefings to ensure your team are engaged and working efficiently and effectively. n

nAbout you…n

• n
• Experience managing a team.  n
• Current SIA license (Minimum Door Supervision) & full clean UK driving licence (Manual Car)  n
• Excellent customer service skills & confident to communicate and influence.   n
• Ability to drive positive security culture within a team, and effectively manage and develop a team.   n
• Commercial awareness, able to manage a budget and rota.  n
• Able to manage a high pressure, fast paced work environment.   n
