Engineering Geologist
Location: Leeds
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to join their talented and close-knit team in Leeds. Due to continued project wins, they are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist who enjoys working within a supportive medium-sized consultancy where progression and technical development are encouraged.
The Role
- Supervising and logging ground investigations
- Soil and rock logging to current British Standards
- Preparing factual ground investigation reports
- Coordinating site works, subcontractors and laboratory testing
- Assisting with interpretative reporting and geotechnical assessments
- Supporting geotechnical and geoenvironmental project delivery
- Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related subject
- Previous consultancy experience preferred
- Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Motivated and team-oriented attitude
