Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Liverpool (Hybrid working available)
Pay Rate: Up to £17.44 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Join Our Dynamic Team as an IT Support Technician!
What You’ll Do:
*Provide 1st Line Support: Be the go to person for hardware, software, and network related issues, ensuring users receive timely assistance.
*Manage Support Requests: Handle incoming requests via our help desk, making sure every issue is addressed promptly.
*Own Incidents: Take charge of incidents from start to finish, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
*Troubleshoot Independently: Utilise your problem solving skills to diagnose and fix a wide range of user issues.
*Escalate When Necessary: Know when to pass on more complex issues to our senior technical teams for swift resolution.
*Deliver Remote Support: Assist users across multiple sites, providing seamless support no matter where they are.
*Assist with Hardware Maintenance: Help keep our laptops and peripheral devices running smoothly.
*Document Everything: Maintain clear and accurate records of your support activities to ensure continuity and improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience: Proven track record in an IT support or help desk role.
*Technical Skills: Strong understanding of common IT systems and hardware, with the ability to diagnose issues independently.
*Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage effectively with users.
*Workload Management: Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment while maintaining high-quality support.
*Familiarity with Tools: Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools to streamline your work.
