Orka Financial is recruiting for a driven and progressive Assistant Management Accountant to join their clients creative fast paced finance team, based in Reading. This role would particularly suit an ACCA or CIMA studier (graduate) who is looking to develop their accounting career in a supportive yet fast-moving environment.
The Assistant Management Accountant role would be ideal for a proactive self-starter who is comfortable working in a changing and evolving environment. You will be involved in a variety of finance tasks, with a strong focus on supporting month-end processes and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Support accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and query resolution
- Assist with journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Help ensure financial data is accurate and up to date
- Work closely with senior finance team members to support reporting deadlines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes
Experience
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
- Currently studying towards ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
- Familiar with accounts payable processes
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing, dynamic environment
Salary Ā£30,000 – Ā£35,000 – study support – flexible hybrid working
