About The Role
As a Class teacher for upper house KS2, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across core subjects, with a particular focus on preparing pupils for 11+ entrance exams. You will play a key role in nurturing each childâs academic, social, and emotional development, both in and outside the classroom. Youâll plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain strong classroom management, and provide pastoral care to your class. Youâll also contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues, while keeping parents informed and engaged in their childâs learning journey.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026.

Who We Are Looking For
You are an enthusiastic and committed educator with Qualified Teacher Status and experience in delivering engaging, effective lessons. Ideally, you have worked in the independent sector and have experience preparing pupils for selective entrance exams. Youâre flexible, organised, and a strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team. You set high standards for pupil achievement and behaviour, and youâre keen to contribute fully to school life. Most importantly, you bring warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping young learners thrive.
